Kyoto Kimono Rental SAKURA

The shop offers the same rental rate regardless of whether you are visiting as an adult, child, or a group of mixed company: a quietly egalitarian touch. In summer the wardrobe shifts to lighter yukata, and hair styling is included for rental customers, so you can step out looking the part from head to hem.

When to go

SAKURA opens on weekdays only, from 10:00 to 17:00, and is closed at weekends and on public holidays, so plan accordingly and book ahead. Arriving at opening gives you the most relaxed start before the streets of central Kyoto fill up through the afternoon.
